A war between Chinas Three Kingdoms is underway - forces of evil rise, alliances are formed, and sacrifices are made.
Absolutely stunning cinematography, a story that is actually compelling and worthwhile, and ginormous battle scenes. This is an epic just like ‘Spartacus’, ‘Ben Hur’ and even ‘Lord of the Rings’.
I find it wild in itself how projects this massive even get finished
Also, it’s a major cliffhanger, as this is part one of two 😩

That’s about a simple as a premise as you need, and with any other director this could’ve came out bland and flavorless. But this is Paul Thomas Anderson we’re talking about, a man who cranks out some fine cinema every few years, and this just proves he’s still on top.

Maybe it's just my small brain, but I enjoyed quite a few things in this. Yo and when Big Chungus shows up - immediate 10/10 movie.
